yesterday was so much fun! anne, rachel, amy, and i spent the better part of the afternoon in dolores park eating snacks and drinking wine. it was the perfect way to kick off summer. i can’t wait to go on some trips with my gals. we’re all excited about summer and the positive changes headed our way. so naturally, we had a mini celebration in the park. cheers to friendship and new beginnings.

my friend amy is the sweetest thing ever! the other day i was walking through whole foods on a search for flowers when i heard my phone sound. i opened a message from amy with this collage attached. it made me feel so special when i saw her sketches! amy decided to use some of her friends for a sketch project and i was fortunate enough to be one of her subjects. that really made my day. she is so thoughtful and talented. gotta love that girl!

i’ve always been a fan of rompers. when it comes to rompers i think people either love ‘em or hate ‘em. personally, i love them. i bought this one years ago for under ten bucks. i still remember the first time i wore the little cutie. it was debuted at one of the many backyard bbqs we used to host at our old house in riverside.  oh the nostalgia! now i’m thinking about all the bbqs, bonfires, playing music with brian and friends in the garage (which brian is trying to convince me to do again), and blasting the lonesome crowded west (one of my all time favorite albums). i will never forget the crazy late night dance parties we had in the front yard either which often garnered stares from the neighbors. they probably thought we were all looney. so not only does this romper bring back welcomed memories of days past, but it also screams summer. it was the perfect choice for hanging out at the park and making new memories on a sizzling sunday!

the weekend is finally here and i’m so ready for it! the crazy winds have finally subsided and the weather is so warm and sunny. this lovely weather calls for a picnic in dolores park for sure! any fun plans this weekend? if you’re in sf, let’s go to the park!

just dropping by to say have a wonderful weekend and easter sunday. it looks like we will be spending our easter sunday in dolores park with dear friends. it is going to be so much fun! here’s hoping for some warm and sunny weather. i tell ya, sf weather is so unpredictable which makes choosing outfits challenging. traveling to sf? here’s a tip, carry a big bag stuffed with a scarf, sweater, and tights if you are wearing a skirt. when the temperature drops… it DROPS! :)
