i love-love-love american apparel for basics! their clothes are so soft and pair well with just about anything. i have also developed an obsession with ferragamo’s, specifically the varas. they are so pretty and feminine. and they too wear well with everything in my closet- shorts, dresses, skirts, you name it. i adore them!

today was the first morning i actually shot an outfit before going to work. it wasn’t too bad. brian was so sweet to take the photos for me. maybe this will start an outfit shoot in the morning trend.

so i just have to say i’m jazzed about this opi nail polish called mermaid tears. i love the color and the name. i’m pretty sure it’s my new favorite. i also love orange!

what about you? orange you mad about orange this spring?

i couldn’t resist. yep. total dork.

oh my gosh, i got the deal of a lifetime on these ferragamo vara flats! i got them on ebay for 1/4 of the original price. yes they were lightly worn but still in excellent condition. brand new these shoes retail for 395 dollars. i could never bring myself to pay full price for these shoes without feeling extreme guilt. nor is there any need to when they can be found secondhand for a fraction of the price!

i have never been so in love with shoes in my life. these vara flats are classically beautiful. the little bow takes them over the top. i’ll be wearing these for years to come. i love you, salvatore ferragamo (especially when i can actually afford you)! <3
